      Heritage Consulting Engineers provides a wide spectrum of engineering, planning, and surveying services to municipalities, government agencies, and commercial and residential developers throughout central New Jersey.  Founded in 1981, Heritage has consistently demonstrated an ability to engineer projects that are well-conceived, on-time, well-prepared, environmentally sound and economically viable.
     The Heritage team includes two (2) principals, Leo A. Santowasso and Robert F. Lorentz who have over 65 years of collective civil engineering experience.  The team also includes a Professional Engineer Associate, a Professional Land Surveyor and other experienced staff members, most of whom have grown along with us for a number of years.  These include design engineers, land surveyors, inspectors, draftspersons, and engineering aides as well as secretarial and administrative staff.
     Each of the principals has attended the New Jersey Municipal Engineering Institute and has received the designation of Certified Municipal Engineer.  The firm has also received a Certificate of Authorization issued by the New Jersey State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors to offer professional services in the engineering and surveying disciplines.  The team's combined resume includes the following licenses and classifications:
